Pinterest API Privacy & Data Use Policy

This policy explains how Ai Wallpaper App ("the App", "we", "us"), operated by AI Tools Wire, accesses, uses, stores, and protects data obtained through the Pinterest API when you connect your Pinterest account. It applies in addition to our general Privacy Policy.

Authentication (OAuth)

Ai Wallpaper App authenticates you using Pinterest's official OAuth 2.0 flow. We never see or store your Pinterest password. When you click "Connect with Pinterest", you are taken to Pinterest's own consent screen where you explicitly approve the access described below. Authorization results in a secure access token that the App uses to act on your behalf only for the features you use.

Permissions We Request (Scopes)

We request only the scopes required for the App's features:

• boards:read — to display your boards so you can choose where a pin is published.
• pins:read — to display pins you have created.
• pins:write — to create, schedule, and publish pins to your boards at your request.
• user_accounts:read — to show your public profile information (username, avatar, follower count) inside the App.

Data We Access

• Your public Pinterest profile (username, display name, avatar, counts).
• A list of your boards and their names.
• Pins you create or schedule through the App.
• The OAuth access token issued by Pinterest.

How We Use This Data

Pinterest data is used solely to provide the App's features: letting you select a board, create and schedule pins, and publish them to your account. We do not use Pinterest data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the action you requested.

Data Storage & Security

• Access tokens are stored securely and transmitted only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
• We retain Pinterest data only for as long as your account is connected and as needed to provide the service.
• We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Pinterest data. We do not share it with third parties except as strictly necessary to operate the service (for example, Pinterest itself via the API), or when required by law.

Revoking Access & Deleting Your Data

You can disconnect Ai Wallpaper App at any time:

• From within Pinterest at Settings → Apps and accounts, which immediately revokes our access token, or
• By contacting us at hello@aitoolswire.com to request that we delete any data we hold about you.

When access is revoked, we stop accessing your Pinterest account and delete the associated tokens.

Compliance

Ai Wallpaper App uses the Pinterest API in accordance with the Pinterest Developer Guidelines and API Terms of Service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
